The Great North Run 2026
Are you up to the challenge of running the largest half-marathon in the world and raising much needed funds for Eczema UK?
The Great North Run sees thousands of runners taking on the iconic course between Newcastle-upon-Tyne and South Shields.
First held in 1981, this is now one of the predominant global running events attracting over 50,000 participants. Could you be one of them this year?
We are hugely grateful to our runners for raising as much as they can, and for raising awareness of eczema among their family, friends, colleagues and community.
We ask supporters who accept a place through us to commit to raising at least £300, which covers the cost of your place plus an administration fee to the Great North Run, as well as our administration costs and the supply of a running vest.
