Emollients and fire risks
Eczema UK has campaigned to make sure information about emollient fire risk is clear, balanced, and does not stop people from using essential eczema treatments. While supporting safety advice from the MHRA, we have helped clarify that emollients are not flammable on the skin and remain a vital first-line treatment for eczema.
